RandInt is a 32-bit script function designed for InTouch, Version 6.0 and later, running on Windows NT 4.0. When called, RandInt returns a random integer that falls within the range of the two passed in parameters.
- Each of the parameters must be between 0 and 32000 inclusive.
- The first parameter must be a smaller number than the second.
If either of the parameters does not meet these criteria, the function will return a -1.
Download the Randint.zip file from the Wonderware Knowledge Base. Next, unzip the file and copy RandInt.dll and RandInt.wdf into your InTouch directory. Restart InTouch and you will be able to use the RandInt function in the same way as any other InTouch function.
